Merged in Chameleon main trunk code commit 2756 ErmaCStatus: Fixed
Hi cmf_ The for the compiling fix for the new clang. I will test as soon as I can and will be merge to main code. For 10.11 we are working (Insanelymac) to improve and clean the code. If you are interested contact me @IM -> ErmaC The code for 10.11 will be merged from Enoch to Chameleon After the official release of El Capitan... The things are to volatile ATM... Cordially ErmaCLabels: Priority:Low Type:Enhancement
that being fixed, I'm still unable to boot with a self-compiled boot binary (10.11 - can't confirm/deny others). compared it against the working one in the insanelymac forum post and boot0 and boot1h are identical, but my boot file is 4k smaller (which may or may not be expected). other issues during build: * ld: warning: object file (.../lots-of-this.o) was built for newer OSX version (10.11) than being linked (10.5) // also 10.6 * ld: warning: option -no_dependent_dr_info is obsolete and being ignored * ld: warning: -segaddr __INIT not 4096 byte aligned * ld: warning: -segaddr __TEXT not 4096 byte aligned * ld: warning: -segaddr __DATA not 4096 byte aligned
clang (3.7 / xcode 7.0) errors on compiling interrupts.c * removed __builtin_unreachable as these are redundant in a noreturn function and apparently invalid inside a "naked" function * ReadPic/WritePic inline assembly uses "N" constraint which requires a constant expression (which int arguments aren't) -> use macro voodoo instead, not the nicest way of doing this, but I don't see another way
Thx. Fix with commit 2736 ErmaCStatus: Fixed
Test2 It works great !!! Thank you!!!
Thx for test it. Here is the main SVN trunk 2735 (ATM) with this correction. Let me know... ErmaC
Bro. you are awesome. I Use test 1 and works perfect now recognizes the correct speed.
Pls Alex test this version... the "PURE" is the 2382 compiled directly from the SVN (just fix compile warning) the 2382_TEST1 is a version where I do a rollback for smbios_getters.h (I belive the problem is located in that file) Let me know ErmaC
Thx Alex for spot this issue. I will take a look at this.. but need test to find exactly what part of code is "malformed" ErmaC
Hey, I realized that from 2382 onwards chameleon not detect the speed of the RAM properly, when you see the memory information in system profiler appears 0 Mhz. But when it boot with a chameleon 2381 backwards chameleon recognize the correct speed.
Done see commit 2731. I suggest you the next time to use pootle instead --> http://pootle.zetam.org:8080/pootle Cordially ErmaCLabels: Priority:Low Type:Enhancement
By switching to GitHub you will get more visibility and contributions: "Moving FlashDevelop from Google code svn to Github did effectively result in a huge increase in code contributions" "Symfony [...] the switch to GH brought a lot of new contributors, tickets & PRs. That was a great move." "I moved WebPagetest from Google code to Github around a year ago. On Google code it was pretty much a ghost town [...] On Github there are 29 contributors and 98 forks" "I remember Walter Bright saying that D's compiler (dmd) had a 10x increase in contributions after moving to GiHub" Feedbacks coming from https://plus.google.com/+SethLadd/posts/d4XAL24Te1L Cons: "There's one thing you have to pay attention to though: switching to GH will probably mean every more tickets created and more time spend to triage the issues." Anyway, thanks for this great tool: I use it everyday with love.
