Chameleon

Issue 124: GraphicsEnabler=Yes causes my monitor types to be detected as 'VGA Display'

Reported by kabz kabz, Jul 20, 2011

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Install Chameleon from MB 3.8.0
2. Turn GraphicsEnabler on
3. Boot

Expected result:
Should be able to see detected monitor(s) in SysProf when running
GraphicsEnabler.

Actual result:
Monitors are detected as generic.
If I *remove* GraphicsEnabler from com.apple.Boot.plist then
monitors are detected, but GeekBench (2.1.13) crashes on start
looking like its being passed null strings (not sure).

Suggestion: Is the code to talk to the monitor getting the right
address? My card is a Sapphire ATI Radeon 5570, which works fine
with/without GraphicsEnabler, aside from GeekBench crashing.

Hi there; i'm a bit confused about this issue...
Can you post the card's device id and subsys ids?

Thanks

No NO NO
MB uses it's own branch (chimera)

We do not maintain that

Please download from the buildbot and try a trunk version
